Troop 75...

... of, by and for boys

For over 50 years Troop 75 has been a quality boy-led unit with a program full of advancement, service, and outdoor adventures. The troop has about 40 youth members with half of them in middle school and the other half in high school. We are a very active troop; our youth leadership plans and carries out monthly big events (usually campouts), weekly meetings, and service projects in the community.

Most members live in Chelmsford, but some live in neighboring towns. The Scouts attend 5 middle schools and 3 high schools in the area. Since its founding in 1968, Troop 75 has recognized 91 Eagle Scouts from its ranks.

Troop 75 meets every Monday night throughout the school year from 7:00-8:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran church in Chelmsford, our charter organization. The troop does not meet when school is closed for vacation or snow days. During the summer the troop continues to meet less frequently for fun activities such as a bike ride or swimming.

Troop 75's regularly attends summer camp. Camp is typically scheduled for the first full week of July. It is the highlight of our year.

Our major fundraiser varies from year-to-year but is currently selling popcorn.
